Welcome Back to Term 4 2022
Dear Families,
We can't wait to see everyone back at school on Monday 10th October. We hope you have enjoyed the last two weeks with your families and children. Term 4 is always a busy term, with many events and celebrations already on the horizon.
We will begin the term with a short assembly on Monday morning and then return to our classroom for another wonderful term of learning. This week is a relatively 'normal' week for our students, however, some of our teachers will be engaged in Professional Learning on different days throughout the week.
A few reminders:
- We will return to school in our Summer uniform. Please see our school website for guidelines: https://www.larplism.catholic.edu.au/school-uniform
It is also a timely reminder about appropriate hairstyles and colours and to hold off on extreme styles until the Christmas Holidays in line with these guidelines.
- Guitar lessons will continue this term, however, band lessons have ceased until a suitable replacement for Dominique can be found through Little Muzos.
- There will be no Early Bird Reading on Monday, week 1 (first day back).
There was lots of information in our last school newsletter, including important dates. Newsletters can be accessed from our school website or via the Schoolzine app and are distributed directly to families via the email provided to the school. We will be requesting updated family details in the first few weeks of this term, so please keep an eye out for this form in your child's bag.
The Director of Catholic Schools, Jenny Allen, has asked all schools to distribute the attached letter to parents and carers regarding negotiations for the new Enterprise Agreement. Please see the link to it here.
Kind regards,
Rick Galvin
Principal
