Happy Easter Message
As we commence the joyous season of Easter, let us reflect on the message of hope and renewal that it brings to our Catholic faith. This sacred season reminds us of the promise of resurrection and the unconditional love that God has for each of us. May the light of Christ fill all our families, bringing peace and happiness to our Easter celebrations. Let us carry the spirit of Easter into our lives, spreading kindness, compassion, and love within our community.
We wish everyone a relaxing, safe and Holy Easter break.
Easter Raffle
We extend a huge thank you to the Easter Raffle fundraising committee: Rachel de Vries, Chaney Boyle, Catherine Dollery, Erin Elliot, Amanda Hansen and Chantal Shoesmith for their organisation and hard work. The raffle was a great success and brought smiles to many faces. A special acknowledgement goes to all our families who donated Easter eggs and everyone who supported the raffle by purchasing tickets. The committee did an outstanding job preparing approximately 70 raffle prizes and ensuring that every child left the hall with an Easter egg in hand. Congratulations to all prize winners! All winners who were not present on the day have been contacted to collect their prizes.
Stations of the Cross
We would also like to express our appreciation to Mrs Watts and our Year 6 students for their moving reenactment of the Stations of the Cross. Their enthusiasm and commitment to sharing this significant story has provided a meaningful experience for our school community, allowing us to reflect on the values of compassion, sacrifice, and hope. When we return, we will celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, the light of the world.
Congratulations
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to staff member Brittney and partner Kurt on the arrival of their second child Indi Blake Wilson. We are sure Ivy will be a beautiful big sister.
Best wishes from the leadership team
Catholic Education Week
We warmly invite all our families to join us in celebrating Catholic Education Week, from April 4th to April 12th. This year, we are embracing the theme 'Innovation and Faith,' which reflects the unique blend of tradition and progressive thinking that characterises our Catholic schools within the Diocese of Lismore.
Catholic Education Week is not only a celebration of our Catholic Identity but also an acknowledgment of the pivotal role our schools play within their local communities. It is an opportunity to celebrate our mission of enabling our students to experience the fullness of life, and to celebrate our thriving school community.
Below is a schedule of events for the week that you are invited to attend:
Kindergarten Open Night
One of the highlights of Catholic Education Week is our Kindergarten 2025 Open Information Evening, scheduled for Monday, April 8th, at 4:30 pm. We are thrilled to welcome prospective families and showcase the exceptional, caring, and innovative learning environment our school offers. The interest we've received so far has been outstanding, with numerous expressions of interest and enrolments.
We would appreciate your continued support in spreading the word about this event. Please help us by liking, sharing, and commenting on our posts regarding Kindergarten 2025 on Facebook. Furthermore, if you are aware of anyone contemplating becoming a part of our school community in 2025, kindly encourage them to attend our Kindergarten Open Night.

In order for the canteen to run efficiently we need at least one helper on a Monday, and two helpers on a Friday. If you can help at all, please contact Emma Hockham at emma.hockham@lism.catholic.edu.au
Please remember you will need a current working with children's check and sign-in through the office to pick up your name badge.
Thank you
Emma Hockham
Uniforms
As the weather is starting to cool, we ask that you consider ordering your winter jackets and long pants soon. We currently have limited stock available in some sizes and would like to place a new stock order. Your orders will allow us to know how much stock is needed.
Thanks for your assistance in this.

Regional visit Year 6
This week, Mrs Tanya Daley, Principal of St Joseph's Regional College, along with Jayla Jolley and Kyan Thompson, our exschool captains, came to speak to the year 6 class about their transition to high school. This is a valuable time for our students to ask lots of questions about what high school will be like for them.
