Thank You to Our Families for Participating in the TTFM Survey!
We wish to advise that the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) survey officially closed today, and thanks to our families incredible support, we surpassed our target! We had 68 families complete the survey, exceeding our goal of 60 responses. The survey responses will provide us with invaluable insights into our school's strengths and areas of growth, ensuring we continue to create the best possible learning environment for our students. The feedback collected will also be instrumental in guiding our future strategic improvements and initiatives.
As a token of our appreciation, we are excited to share that each student will receive a Zooper Dooper on Monday! This treat is a small gesture to celebrate our collective achievement in reaching our survey completion target. Thank you once again for taking the time to contribute to our school's journey of continuous improvement. Your involvement is deeply valued and makes a significant difference in our school community.
Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Communion Reflection Night

We invite families to join us on this special morning.
Save the date: Family Faith night. Saturday 29th June 2024. Children and their families will be part of the Mass at 5pm, followed by shared dinner, games and faith sharing in the parish hall. More details to come.2025 Kindergarten Interviews Underway!
We are thrilled to have begun interviews for our 2025 Kindergarten class this week. It has been delightful to meet children from both new and existing families. It is already evident that the incoming students will be a wonderful addition to our community, and we are looking forward to welcoming them into our school family.
Please be reminded that the enrolment interviews will continue until the end of this term. If you or someone you know is still interested in enrolling a child for Kindergarten in 2025, we encourage you to contact the school office as soon as possible to schedule an interview. Availability is becoming limited, and we are committed to ensuring that every interested family has the opportunity to join our community.
Staff Proclaim Day - Pupil Free Day on Friday, 31st May.
We would like to remind families that next Friday, May 31st, will be a Pupil Free Day at our school. All staff members will be attending a regional Staff Proclaim Day focused on Spiritual Development and Faith Formation at Port Panthers. Please note that there will be no staff on site at the school on this day.
For families requiring supervision for their children, Aspire After School Care will be offering a vacation care program. We encourage you to contact Aspire directly for more information and to secure a spot if needed. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We appreciate your support as our staff engages in this important faith-formation opportunity.
MultiLit Visit
On Monday, we were fortunate to have an educator from MultiLit and 2 Education Officers come and observe our infant's classrooms during our InitiaLit instruction. They were very impressed with our dedication and consistency in improving student outcomes. The Teachers and Leadership Team also had the opportunity to work with these educators to further improve our instruction and routines during InitiaLit instruction.
Best wishes from the leadership team

Dear Parents,
During Term 2 on 2nd July, Rick Galvin will be involved in a principal appraisal process as part of his contract of employment. You may have already received an email regarding this, as it was sent early. Please disregard that email as the survey has been closed, and you will receive a new email and link on the 31st of May. If you have already completed the survey before it was closed, you will not need to complete it again, as all data will be transferred across. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience.
The appraisal process seeks information from a variety of people associated with the school and uses a number of tools to ensure effective consultation. The process aims to highlight the positive aspects of the leadership offered and identify areas for further development.
A timeline is currently being arranged to suit the needs of the school community. The appraisal will be conducted by an External Chair nominated by the Catholic Schools Office.
The full principal appraisal process involves:
• a survey and self-appraisal statement completed by the Principal
• an interview with the Principal
• input as arranged with the Parish Priest
• surveys of parents, school staff and Catholic Schools Office personnel
• interviews with the Schools Leadership Team
• interviews with a random selection of staff who request an interview with the Chair
• interviews with a random selection of parents who request an interview with the Chair.
The preferred method of survey completion is by the online survey form. A link to this form will be forwarded to your email address. Please ensure your current email address is registered at the school as this survey link will be sent to you two weeks prior to the appraisal. Parents may express their interest to be interviewed via this electronic form. Not all those who express an interest to be interviewed will be contacted. If not contacted, then parents may wish to email their comments. Anonymous comments and emails will not be considered.
In writing the appraisal report, use of the information gathered will remain confidential and not identify sources. Every family in the school is encouraged to complete a survey.
Your support of the appraisal process is appreciated.
Yours sincerely
Michael Mullaly
Chair
