A Night to Remember: Celebrating Cultural Influences through the Arts
We are still riding the wave of excitement and pride from last night's Showcase Celebration - "Celebrating Cultural Influences through the Arts." It was an evening where our students shone brightly, both on stage and behind the scenes, showcasing their diverse talents and skills.
We are incredibly proud of every student who participated. Their dedication and enthusiasm were evident, transforming the showcase into not just a performance, but a memorable and enriching learning experience that we hope will stay with them for years to come. The positive feedback from our audience has been overwhelming, and we are grateful for the encouragement and appreciation shown by all who attended.
We owe a huge thank you to the many individuals whose tireless efforts made this event possible. While many of these people were thanked at the conclusion of the show, we continue to extend our gratitude to them all.
Once again, thank you to everyone who played a part in making last night's event a resounding success. Your support and enthusiasm make Joey’s a truly special community.
Sacrament of Confirmation
Last Monday night, 18 students received the Sacrament of Confirmation. We extend our thanks to Mrs. Steep and Mrs. Wilson for their dedication in preparing our children for this special celebration. Bishop Gregory addressed the children, highlighting the importance of using their gifts of knowledge and strength, showing kindness to others and being the best person they can be. He also spoke to the parents and caregivers, highlighting the importance of teaching children about love by showing them love and ensuring they always feel loved. Thank you to all parishioners and choir for leading the singing and to all the families for supporting the children.
