Dance Teams update
Thank you to all the parents who have expressed interest in their child participating in this year's school Dance Teams for years 1-6. We have a majority of students across the school wanting to participate, making the largest dance teams we have ever had! We have begun choreographing and practising with our teams this week as it will take a long time to get these large teams ready for the big stage. As we indicated in the Expression of Interest, we were hoping to enter Taree and Port Macquarie Eisteddfod as well as perform at a couple of school community events during the year. Unfortunately, we have received the date for the Taree Eistedfodd that falls on the 9th May, being the same date as our booked Stage 2 Theatre Show Excursion and also our big Mother's Day liturgy and celebration. Therefore, we won't be able to enter this competition. We look forward to showcasing our dance teams at other events and at the Port Eisteddfod later this year.

Thank you to everyone that nominated as a class parent for 2025- if you are interested, it's not too late to become involved! We will be holding a meeting next Thursday 6th March at 3:15pm in the library if you would like to attend or alternatively, send an email to fiona.hayward@lism.catholic.
