Leadership Report

Project Compassion - Monday, 7th April

The Mission leaders have decided on a great fundraising initiative for Project Compassion. We will have buckets and Esky’s and the class will transport 100L of water from one end of the playground to the other, simulating the kilometres that families walk to provide water for their children. In Samoa, with the help of Project Compassion, students can now attend school even during a drought. Watch this story:

On Monday, 7th April, children will wear casual clothes with enclosed shoes, they will bring a gold coin donation and participate in activities run by Year 6. Bring an extra coin for a fun lunchtime game, where Year 6 and maybe even teachers will put themselves up as a target.

Kindergarten 2026 Information Night

We look forward to our 2026 Kindergarten Information Night next Monday, 7th April. As mentioned last week, we have already received a large number of enrolment applications for 2026. To ensure your child's place, we strongly encourage existing and new families to submit their applications as soon as possible. Please note that the closing date for first-round enrolments is Monday, 28th April.

We appreciate all our families' continued support in spreading the word about this event! Please continue to help us by liking, sharing, and commenting on our Facebook posts regarding Kindergarten 2026. If you know anyone considering joining our school community in 2026, please encourage them to attend our Kindergarten Information Night.

Stations of the Cross & Easter Celebrations

Join us next Thursday in the School Hall as our Year 6 students lead us in The Stations of the Cross. This special prayer service will begin at 12 pm and offers a beautiful opportunity for devotion and reflection during this Lenten season. All families are warmly invited to attend.

Please note that there will be no whole-school assembly next week. However, we will still be celebrating our students' birthdays! Birthday certificates, including those for students with holiday birthdays, will be presented before the Easter Raffle draw on Thursday afternoon.

We look forward to sharing these special moments with you.

Brass Band and Piano EOI

For many years, we have been fortunate to offer Instrument Tuition and Band opportunities at our school for students in years 3-6 as an extracurricular activity funded by individual families. We need to add more students to our Brass Instrument Tuition and Band for this to continue being offered in Term 2 and beyond.

The tutor can also now offer piano/keyboard tuition to add to the program. If you are interested in your child taking up this opportunity, please read the further details sent in the Compass Event last week. With enough interest and participation, we hope we can continue to offer this opportunity at our school into the future. Please complete this EOI by Thursday next week if you are interested.

Best wishes from the leadership team
