Athletics

It was all sunshine and smiles at the fields for our Athletics Carnival yesterday. Students competed enthusiastically in track and field events, including sprints, relays, shot put, discus, and long jump. Our infants students ran their fun sprint races before participating in modified games. It was wonderful to see so many students encouraging one another and giving their best.

A special thank you to our Sports Coordinator, Mrs Natlaie Hurrell, for planning such a smooth event. A huge thank you also to all staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the day a memorable and successful event for everyone involved.

Flood Fundraiser

Our Flood Fundraiser Footy Jersey Day was a fantastic display of school spirit and generosity. Students and staff proudly wore their favourite team jerseys to raise funds for those affected by recent floods. We raised over $600. All proceeds will go directly to support families in need through the Bishop’s Flood Appeal. Thank you to everyone who participated and donated—your support makes a real difference in the lives of those affected.

GOLD STARS for our CANTEEN

Nobody likes a surprise inspection, but we are thrilled that our Canteen received 5 stars mid-service last Friday. A massive thank you to Emma and to all our volunteers who do an incredible job every week. Our canteen is a valuable service to our families, and I’m sure all our families will agree that it is certainly value for money. Emma and the team will often do between 100-150 orders on a Friday.

Thank you. You do not go unnoticed.

Dance Teams update

Our Dance Teams have been working hard to learn their moves and stage their dances in readiness for our first competition for Kempsey Eisteddfod at the Iona Theatre on Thursday, 3rd July.

Important information has been communicated via Compass to parents of children participating in this event, including details regarding costumes, tickets, and other essential information. If you did not see this in your emails, it has also been posted in the Parent Resources section of the Compass Event.

Please save the date for our School Dance Preview Performance on Friday, 27th June (week 9) at 2 pm. Our dance groups will perform in costume in our school hall for all our students and any parents who are able to attend. We can't wait to show you what we have been working on before we hit the big stage!
