Congratulations, Mrs Maria Wilson, on her truly positive and successful Assistant Principal Appraisal this week.
Maria’s dedication, achievements and strengths were celebrated as part of her fourth-year review, highlighting her invaluable contributions to our school community. It was wonderful to celebrate her accomplishments and strengths as an integral part of our community. A sincere thank you is also extended to our incredible staff and parents for your support and engagement throughout the appraisal process. Your partnership is essential in helping us recognise and celebrate the excellent leadership and hard work within our school.
Please join us in congratulating Mrs Wilson on this well-deserved affirmation of her outstanding work!
Thank you to our Colour Run Committee, who have now launched “Monty’s Colour Run” for 2025. The goal is to raise $30,000 to fund the new school playground. So far, 70 students have signed up, started fundraising, and have already raised $8000. What an amazing effort, families!!!! Rachel de Vries and family have made a thermometer tracker, which will be displayed in the hall and updated weekly.
Every student who raises $10 or more gets at least 1 prize, with prizes going up in value and quantity the more money the student raises.
The great thing is that you can ask neighbours, friends and family to donate online and in person to your child’s profile.
WHAT’S NEXT: We need everyone to register. There will be a whole class reward for the first class with everyone registered, or the most students registered, by next Friday 31st October. Some families have opted to fundraise under one profile and this will be taken into account.
COMING SOON: “Slime the teacher” opportunities and Business Donations available.

Today our student Mission Team coordinated a wonderful “Socktober” day. Students wore their crazy socks and kicked goals to “Sock-it to Poverty” helping to raise money for Catholic Mission’s work in Zambia.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the day, including donating socks to make sock-er balls and donating funds. Altogether we raised $333.55 and Callistemon won teh soccer kicking competition.

Over the last 10 weeks, students from years 5&6 have been busily knitting squares to create blankets for the Parish “Wrapped with Love” project. The project, run through the Camden Haven Parish, donates blankets to Community @3 who supports needy people in our community. A massive Thank You to our Parishioners, Pauline, Stephanie, Angela, and Michael, who have been supporting the children with their knitting each week, picking up many dropped stitches along the way. Also, to the Tilligerry Art Group (led by the grandmother of Thomas Hayward), who carefully put together the squares into beautiful blankets.

Best wishes from the leadership team
